Thanksgiving is here!
Thanksgiving is a holiday that is usually associated with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing...and football. But it's way more than that, as you probably already know. It's a holiday to remind us to be thankful for what we have and show love to all the people in our lives.
In my life, there are many things to be thankful for. My family, my friends, my church family, and above all, my God.
One of the things I am most thankful for currently is Scrooge: The Musical. I had the opportunity to perform in it and it was wonderful. To be honest, we were having a lot of issues with it and many of us thought it wouldn't turn out very well, but God really turned it around for us. He brought it together nicely.
The musical also effected our everyday lives in a positive way. For myself, it really brought me closer to everyone in my life. One of my new friends, Katie, has told me that before she started going to rehearsals for Scrooge, she didn't have any friends that really cared about her. She said that the people at Grace Church are so nice and friendly, and that really warmed my heart to hear that.
All-around, this play has done wonderful things from helping people meet new friends to helping audience members become closer to God. Although the play is done, I can thank God for all the wonderful memories and other good things that came from it.
There's a song from Scrooge called "Thank You Very Much" and it easily gets stuck in our heads, but it really helped the whole cast to remember to be thankful and stay positive.
If you're reading this right now, which, I suppose you are...Thank you very much for doing so!

And one of my favorite songs by Josh Groban:
